Tibetan Medical Dietary Book: Potency & Preparation of Vegetables by Dr. Yangbum Gyal

For the last 40 years I have relied on Tibetan medicine to help with conditions of the heart, kidney, bladder, along with neurological challenges with walking, coordination and balance. I became convinced that the ancient system of healing based on Buddhist principles was exceedingly effective in the overall management of long-term chronic illness. Dr. Yangbum Gyal carries on this rich tradition with insight and compassion. He has added acupuncture to his practice, having studied at the Miswest College of Oriental Medicine in Racine, WI. I would highly recommend him to anyone wishing to pursue Tibetan healing and/or acupuncture. There is a deep peace in knowing that body, mind and spirit can heal together.

I have worked with Yangbum Gyal for a number of years and find him to be a humble man and a great practitioner of both acupuncture and Tibetan Medicine. Many clients have had great results from acupuncture, for both short-term and long-term therapy for more chronic conditions. He is a very thoughtful and gentle man. I would highly recommend him particularly for those who are new to acupuncture and Tibetan Medicine.

Dr. Gyal has has helped with several health issues over the past few years, and continues to be a source of healing for me and my family. As a health practitioner myself, I recommend Dr. Gyal not only for his knowledge as a doctor of Tibetan Medicine, but as a caring and compassionate person.

Dr. Yangbum Gyal exhibits many qualities that indicate excellence as a Tibetan physician. His intelligence and understanding are stable. Further, his ministrations seem to be strengthened by genuine motivation. I have personally benefited for over a decade from Dr. Gyal’s care. My chronic pain condition is well-managed and I feel happier and more energetically balanced than I have in a long time.
